Zhumbaktas rock, Burabay (North Kazakhstan)

Zhumbaktas rock is a mysterious cliff that rises up right in the middle of the lake. It has a common story with the Okzhetpes mountain. They say that Zhumbaktas is a beautiful woman who jumped into the water fleeing the invaders of her village. Zhumbaktas from Kazakh language translates as a Puzzle Stone. If you go across the lake looking at the Zhumbaktas rock you will see the figure of a beautiful girl. But when you look at it from another side you will see an outline of a witch. This is the creature of the nature, so it is indeed a mysterious thing to see. As a tourist you can rent a boat to go and climb the Zhumbaktas.
