With its Gothic churches, deliicous chocolates, liberal people and of course its rich history, Cologne (Köln) is Germany's most visited city by tourists! It is the fourth largest city in Germany and it is also Germany's "media and tourism hub".  This gorgeous city stands on the Rhine-Ruhr metropolitan region and is surrounded by the River Rhine. The nightlife in Cologne is one of a kind with more than 70 clubs and party hot spots! There is no other German city that has as many pubs per capita as Cologne! You can find lots of bars and nightclubs for every taste and every pocket. Interested? Great, then let's jump into my favorite nightclubs and bars in Cologne!

Odonien

Located in the middle of Ehrenfeld, between the railway line and Europe's largest Eroscenter, the artist Odo Rumpf has created a unique combination of an open-air studio, workshop, venue, and cultural center! If you get to Odonien, you will have the chance to visit event halls, the artist's workshop, a huge store of finds, an open-air stage and a richly planted beer garden with bizarre metal sculptures! There is no better place to enjoy a cold Kölsch with odd metal sculptures while listening to some sick music. On weekends, you can dance till morning on the three main dance floors with techno and house music

Bootshaus

Formerly a warehouse, the Bootshaus is a cool night club at the Mülheim harbor in the Deutz district. This is one of Cologne's oldest techno clubs (since 1991) and regularly hosts DJ royalties, such as David Guetta, Ellen Allien, and Jeff Mills, alongside its 14 resident spinmeisters! The club has three rooms and an outdoor area. The main floor offers space for more than 1000 guests, and the third room has a "Function One" sound system. The BLCKBX (second room) is dominated by a fan ceiling, which is complemented by sculptures all around the walls. In here, you can dance like you never danced before on each of the 3 floors with their starry LED sky and their outdoor chill zones with snack stands.  It is a hub for the electronic music styles Techno, Electro House, Trap and Dubstep

Six Pack

Located in the Belgisches Viertel, Six Pack is a must-stop pub, which offers several dozen varieties of beer, all served in bottles taken from a giant fridge! I have to warn you; it’s not easy to get into the Six Pack, because there is a limit in access, so if you want to enjoy this exquisite place, you have to go there before midnight - trust me, it gets very crowded later in the night. You can enjoy your beer while listening to mainly electronic music, as well as to many famous DJs' works. Six Pack is the place where the friendly hipsters in the area meet with the "all kinds of revelers", famous people and guests who are well-known in the club scene!
