At the beginning of the 2010s, Moldova couldn't have dreamed about the amusements parks or aqua parks at all. However, some years ago, the mayor of the city Orhei decided to create the real amusement park in the north of the country. That is how the OrheiLand came to be - today it is visited more frequently than many other touristic places! The most curious fact is that the park is even more visited by the adults! Let's see what is OrheiLand and how to get there!

20,000 square meters of fun

The total area of the park is more than 20,000 square meters. Area of 14,000 square meters of the park is covered with asphalt, and around 10,000 square meters are retracted for lawns and small gardens for flowers. The park is equipped with dozens of inflatable trampolines, slides and children's playgrounds. There is also a zone for children with special needs. An upside-down house is an attractive object for the most curious people. The improvised jungle zone is where the most courageous can enjoy adrenaline rush on high vines and suspension bridges and further challenge themselves. Children, toddlers, and adults will be able to relax in the green zone, or in the playground with a bowling alley, and in the very center of the park. The water zone of the OrheiLand is the most impressive! "Waterfall" and "The Ninth Wave" are just a few of the dozens of water rides that will never leave you indifferent. The park is also equipped with swimming pools of significant sizes - one of 7 meters and another of 16 meters, near the slides and bridges. Well, it's just a vast area of fun!

Tips for visiting OrheiLand

The most fantastic thing about this park is that it is free of charge! No jokes. You can visit OrheiLand from 10:00 till 22:00 every day without any tickets and queues. But, there are some rules about "how to behave yourself" and other tips for the park visitors. Just note that it is not allowed to bring food, alcoholic beverages, and portable refrigerators there. It is also forbidden to enter the park with pets. The administrators kindly ask visitors to throw garbage in specially designated bins. If the guest has any chronic diseases, specifically infectious diseases that pose a threat to others, he cannot visit the park. Smoking is allowed only in specially equipped places. Being the biggest amusement park, situated on the north of Moldova, OrheiLand is the place that you can easily get to. The easiest way is to go by car and follow the navigation on your phone or take a cab. If you don't have a car, take a bus from the Central Bus Station (Metropolit Varlaam Street, 58) from Chisinau to Orhei. It goes every 15 minutes and costs 23 leis (about 1 - 1,2 euros) for a one-way ticket.
