Since life can sometimes be stressful, finding a spa when visiting a new city has become a very common activity. Massages and sauna sound good for everyone, and there is always time to find a slot in your schedule when you are away. I find it very relaxing and, when I am travelling, it gives me a sense of peace and calmness to continue exploring.

Valencia is one of the biggest cities in Spain, which gets plenty of visitors during the year. And I am not surprised since the town is full of beauty and charm, and it is not messy or chaotic at all. One of my favorite parts is undoubtedly the Arts and Sciences City, with its new and modern architecture and designs, which is currently considered as one of the most spectacular examples of modern constructions in the world, where art and science go hand in hand. The amazing Turia Park is also one of my top places to visit in this city, where very commonly, people cycle around to get the best views.

I consider Valencia a lively and healthy city, where people eat delicious food and have a good lifestyle - especially due to the fantastic weather and the sea. On top of this, the city offers its visitors and its people plenty of spa options, where you can disconnect from everything that makes you feel stressed.  In this story, I wanted to tell you about one of the best spas I have ever visited: with fantastic facilities, and incredible location and views, the Barceló Valencia hotel is definitely worth a visit.

Hotel Barcelo's terrace and spa

The Barceló Valencia hotel oozes urbanism and modernity. Located opposite to the Arts and Sciences City, it offers a unique experience in Valencia by the Turia River. It can be a perfect option when looking for accommodation. However, if you stay at a different place, I 100% recommend a visit to its magnificent terrace on the tenth floor, where along with bar service, excellent views of the city are offered. In this fancy terrace, you can enjoy a drink, the sun, or the night lights, and the enveloping chilled out music after having had a very relaxing time in the spa facilities. It is also a pretty cool place to see the sunset.

Its spa is on the tenth floor too, and it offers a circuit overlooking the City of Arts and Sciences with a Finnish Sauna, a whirlpool, and an anti-stress massage; it also has locker rooms where you can leave you stuff. The regular fares are not pricy at all, yet my friend and I got a cheap deal – The circuit lasted for 1 hour and 30 minutes while the massage lasted for 30 minutes. On top of this, the staff was very friendly.

When visiting Valencia, find some time to relax and connect with yourself at the Spa of the Barceló Valencia Hotel. Enjoy the bar on its magnificent terrace, which is more than worth visiting. Get some of the best views to the spectacular Arts and Sciences City and the Turia Park and enjoy definitively one of my favorites rooftop terraces in Valencia.
