I will now introduce you to the Stars Boxes in Piedmont, where you can sleep under the stars, have a unique and unforgettable experience, and experience a full immersion in nature in close contact with yourself. What are the Stars Boxes?

An architecture studio located in the province of Cuneo, in Piedmont, has designed the Stars Boxes. These are installations of an architectural and artistic nature, where you can spend the night in safety and privacy. The main feature of the Stars Boxes is a sunroof; spend the night admiring the starry sky!

The Stars Boxes are small bedrooms, with an external structure in a multilayer birch wood. In short, a cross between a camping tent and a wooden house- they are the size of a double bed.

The inspiration for the project came from the mini-houses that nomadic shepherds use at night when they follow the flock or herds to pasture. The Stars Boxes are temporarily built and can be entirely and easily disassembled at the end of September; that way we can reduce their impact on the winter mountain landscape, or even move them to another place.

All the Stars Boxes have the expression "look up !!!" printed on the sides as an invitation to push your gaze (and also the roof) beyond, upwards, to enjoy the sky and nature.

Stars Boxes offer shelter during the night but can open up to the sky, which offers a unique spectacle. In short, you can decide when to start the show and when to close the roof for a night's rest in the middle of unspoiled nature.
