With its breathtakingly beautiful green nature, fresh air, sea and amazing landscapes, the Black Sea region is one of the most visited places in Turkey. Many visitors get  mesmerised by the amazing coast of the Black Sea. Amasra

Amasra, or formerly known as Amastris, is a cute port town in Turkey. With its breathtaking nature, its amazing beaches and rich history, Amasra is a popular tourist attraction and destination. The city's history dates back 3000 years ago, when Amasra was the capital of many civilizations!

The whole city looks a bit like Croatia and it is definitely one of my favorite places to live or visit. If you want to enjoy the sea, I would recommend you to visit this magnificent city in summer- since the Black Sea is so cold that you can only enjoy it during the summertime. The main beach here is called "Büyük Liman Plajı" and it is one of the most peaceful places on earth! You can admire this cute little bay in summer with your friends and family.

Kemere Bridge is an ancient Roman bridge, which connects Boztepe island to the mainland of Amasra. The bridge was constructed in the 9th century and it is an one-arch bridge. You can undoubtedly get the best view of the city from there! Trust me, the color of the sea looks amazing from the top. I wouldn't choose swimming around this bridge, but people swimming there, seem to have a really fun time, so it is up to you. :)

Trabzon

Being the largest city in the Eastern Black Sea region of Turkey, Trabzon is surrounded by amazing forests and mountains! This gorgeous city was founded in 756 BC by Greek colonists. The famous "Turkish nuts" labelled on Nutella, are in fact coming from here! Of course, this place offers much more than just nuts and history. Here you can also enjoy gorgeous beaches and otherworldly nature at the same time! Trabzon has so many beaches but the most beautiful one for me is the "Çamburnu Plajı".  It is known for being wavy and very clean, so if you want some action, this beach is definitely worth a visit!

Rize

Imagine a city covered with different colors of trees, fresh rivers born from fountains on gorgeous mountains, waterfalls that make you want to just sit and watch, fresh summer breezes and of course loads of fresh tea - just to cozy up to the whole situation a bit more! Sounds like a utopia right? This city that I've just described, believe it or not, is in Turkey; it might sound weird to some of us, since Turkey is mainly known for its sun, hot weather and beaches and not that much for its mountains. If you can't stand the heatwave in summer, you should visit Rize, located in northeast Turkey, and specifically on the eastern Black Sea coast! The sea in here is always cold, so just keep that in mind. If you don't mind being on a beach full of pebbles, you should also visit the "Fındıklı Plajı" in Rize! While swimming in here, you might come across a lot of fish species!
