Mr & Mrs Watson located in beautiful Amsterdam Oost, offers delicious meals, such as sloppy BBQ sandwiches made with pulled jackfruit, cashew-based fondue, cheesecake and cheese platters as well as the all-important frietjes with eggless mayonnaise! You should also try their cheese because it was voted as "best vegan cheese by PETA in 2017"! If you have dietary restrictions (e.g gluten), rest assured since it is also taken very seriously in here, so you can enjoy your meal with a variety of gluten- and nut-free options!
With a completely vegan menu, Meatless District is a heaven for vegans! The menu has breakfast, lunch, and dinner but with fewer options. For breakfast, you can enjoy delicious yellow beet, trendy avocado toast, or if you are looking for a more traditional option, you can enjoy scones and scrambled vegan eggs! For lunch and dinner, you have to try their famous Meatless District burger, which is made from grilled aubergine with french fries as a side dish.
In the gorgeous Westerpark neighborhood, you can have delicious breakfast and lunch in Dophert! The breakfast menu consists of one of the best vegan cheese, tofu, and blueberry pancakes. The breakfast is served till 16.00, so if you are looking for a place for brunch, Dophert is the right place to go! If you are more like a sandwich/burger type of person, you can enjoy chickpea-based burgers, sandwiches, and delicious soups! If you have a sweet tooth, you can also treat yourself with egg- and lactose-free cakes! My favorite is definitely the peanut butter brownie!
If you like fresh organic products that feed your body, you have to go to the Raw Food Café! In here, you can enjoy smoothies, slow juices, soups, salads, cakes, and many more. Since health is the main focus in here, the entire menu is vegan, sugar, gluten, and dairy-free, and homemade! The meals are never heated in above 42 degrees Celsius so that enzymes and nutrients are not decomposed. This allows your body to absorb the necessary nutrients optimally!
