Top 3 spots for pub-crawling in Yerevan

Among many cultural centers, museums and theaters in Yerevan, one can also find many places to have a lot of fun and spend time with friends. Nightlife in Yerevan is a fun thing. Before sharing with you some info on good spots for evening and night fun, it is worth mentioning that Yerevan is very safe both during the day and night. So, night pub-crawling is much welcomed, and here are the top three spots. 

Calumet Ethnic Lounge Bar 

If you ask anyone in the town where to go first for evening fun, most probably they will recommend you to check Calumet Ethnic Lounge Bar. It is sort of a pub (it is also allowed to smoke inside), but the difference from the other pubs is that people also dance here. From time to time, they put some ethnic music, which is not a common thing in pubs. They often host various well-known bands, and on those days, the tables have to be reserved in advance, otherwise no chance you can get in. If you decide to make a pub-crawl, I suggest you start from Calumet and again end up there, after exploring the rest of the pubs around.

The Beatles pub

The Beatles is also a well-known pub in Yerevan that became much-liked by many locals. It is located very close to Calumet pub. Actually, there are many pubs located on Pushkin and Parpetsi streets, so just by walking around, you can notice them as the entrances are from the street side. The Beatles pub is there for already many years, which is a sign that it is good enough and people keep on visiting it. Here, they have nice music and fun atmosphere. The drinks are good, and you can also have some snacks should you be hungry.

Haminguey’s pub

Haminguey’s is another cool pub which is located by the Cafejian Centre for the arts, where actually the Cascade is. There are seats both at the table and a separate small corner, where you can just sit on pillows on the floor, which is indeed a cozy and comfortable corner. The good thing about Haminguey’s is that, after having a couple of shots or enjoying the music, you can just walk and sit on the steps of Cascade. It is fantastic at night, as you see the whole city wrapped in night lights.

The list of pubs is big enough to talk about each of them separately. However, these are the top three spots that came to my mind first when I had decided to write on pub-crawling in Yerevan. By the way, do not forget to try Dou-Dou shot, a Lebanese place, that became very popular in Armenia for the last five years.
