My name is Mara, I am Italian, I was born in Rome and grew up in the wonderful Tuscany, a beautiful land that I consider my home town more than Rome. ...I grew up in Tuscany with my grandparents, in a rural and simple environment, which allowed me to fall in love with simple life, feelings without masks and nature.\nI've always written everything and about everything. I often imagined writing a novel, then life led me to another kind of profession, graphic designer, which in any case allowed me to better develop my creativity: mixing shapes and colors I expressed feelings, moods and emotions.\nI have been very lucky so far because I had the chance to travel a lot and also for long periods, both to accompany my beloved husband in his work (he organizes cultural events and art exhibitions in Italy and abroad) but also for pure vacation.\nIn all my travel experiences I had the opportunity to meet special people, with whom I continued a friendship, even from a distance.\nI have always accompanied my travels with photography. I attended several photography courses, until I realized that what interested me most was not artistic photography but street photography, the stolen picture, the photo taken in an instant while crossing the street or while a running passerby turns his head to look at you. I found another form of expression in photography that completed my travel stories.\nAt the moment I'm living in Sardinia, Italy, a land that offers a thousand faces of the same coin, with millenary traditions, a story lost in the mists of time, a food and wine that deserve to be known all over the world, a sea that has nothing to envy to the exotic beaches of the Caribbeans or Polynesia. What more can I want? Just keep writing, of course!
