How it all started?

It all started with the emergence of alcohol production in Kazakhstan. In 1948, construction of the champagne plant started in Almaty. Two years later, for the 30th anniversary of the Kazakh SSR, the Bacchus company produced the first 5000 bottles of champagne. It was the first company that developed a new technology of champagnisation, that was introduced to 22 alcohol manufacturers of Soviet Union. In 1974, the company started its first cognac production, and since then, it became its characteristic feature. That year, the Bacchus company produced 260 thousand bottles.

Today, the company has more than fifty products, including premium collections. The most particular ones are wine, cognac, and vodka. Since the company is also a leader in the wine-making industry, the Bacchus company developed its assortment based on the preferences of their consumers. In 2012, according to the results of one sociological survey and expert analysis, the Bacchus trademark was recognized as the №1 company in Kazakhstan. Especially for "Astana EXPO - 2017", the company released a four-star cognac "Astana" and a champagne "Astana Premium". 

The company has a brand store called ‘Vinograd’ (The grape). This store presents the entire range of Bacchus products. If you wonder how to taste their products, simply book a tour of the company. The cost of the tour is 10,000 tenges (about 23 euro) per group (up to 10 people). To arrange a tour, you need to contact the company 24 hours in advance, so they have the time to prepare. Also, to enter their website and get to the tour, you must be older than 20 years, as per by Kazakhstan law.
