World Cup is already quite heated up. Maybe it is not big deal for some, while for the others it is a main component for this summer and criteria for its quality. Some would say it is silly, but in any case, there is no way you can avoid football matches in any public places worldwide. If you feel like staying in and watching football from your sofa is too dull, then this is the right article for you. Keep scrolling to find out the best places to watch football in Brussels, enjoy in Belgium finest beer and some precious sun.
Stam
Stam Bar is definitely one of my favorite places to be at any time, especially during the summer season of World Cup craze. Located nearby Matongé, at Saint Boniface square, Stam is always an excellent choice for coffee and drinks. The location of bar in the bohemian neighborhood gives it a unique, irresistible charm. Located at the corner of the street and large pavement, Stam bar offers comfortable seating and at least 5 different screens, so you can relax and be assured that if you come there, you will definitely see the game. The atmosphere of Stam is definitely giving its guests a cozy, friendly local vibe, which is one among many reasons why I always come back there. The concept of the place is similar to typical Paris brasseries, but in Brussels- Matongé style. Moreover, just like in brasseries, in Stam you can find everything from light meals and snacks to a big portion burgers. Try out their falafel while drinking beer and cheering for your favorite team.

Another favorite place of mine to meet up with friends on any occasion is Public House at Place de Londres. Not only because is just around the corner where I live, but it is truly a place where hospitality, good vibe and great cuisine and drinks meet. I fell in love with this place when I unexpectedly noticed an avid and quite admirable collection of different variety of whiskey as well as all sequels of James Bond movies. Those are just some among several things I love, and Public House became one of them. It is not only because the manager of the bar, who cheers for a Serbian football team always greets me with warm welcome and by singing my name, but because the bar is simply amazing. I am pretty sure you will have a warm welcome too. At Public House you can watch a game by looking at several screens at once, and while snacking the most delicious fries. Make sure you visit this small, charming and unique place at Place de Londres.

Finally, I know you might think that it is such a cliché to go to Place du Luxembourg to watch a football game, but I have two arguments. First one is – I don’t care, I love it! Second, Café Luxembourg at Place du Luxembourg offers an extreme variety of alcoholic beverages, homemade iced teas, snacks and most importantly- comfortable seating to enjoy the game. You will recognize Café du Luxembourg by red and white Stella chairs, which will definitely be the most comfortable thing you have ever sat on. Maybe you will take a nap and relax so well, that you may be tempted to take one chair home, but don’t. You can come back here and enjoy anytime!
