Seixal

Seixal, situated between Porto Moniz and São Vicente, is one of the places to stop when traveling along the road on the north coast of Madeira. From here you can explore the rocky coastline and walk along the pier to contemplate the cliffs and waterfalls that fall on both sides of this small village. Near the bay you can have a bath on the black sand volcanic beach. Here is also produced excellent wine, with grapes from small vines, hanging in the cliffs. At the mouth of the river you can contemplate three small islands, the largest of which is shaped like a window.
