Argentina

Argentina, situated in Latin America, is a country of natural wonders and incredible culture. Because of its large size, Argentina has a large variety of ecosystems and biodiversity as well as a rich history and culture. Its capital Buenos Aires is a city for everyone as it is safe, clean and hospitable. Not everyone knows that especially book-worms love it, as the city has more bookshops per inhabitant than any other city in the world: 734 bookstores for 2.8 million inhabitants!...

Argentina is also home of the most visited glacier Perito Moreno and countless penguins, whales and seals, the Patagonia and the Tierra del Fuego regions have much to offer for the ones who dare. Nature will be found at its most splendor, which can be admired by the ‘tren del fin del mundo’ (the ‘train to the end of the world’, in the most southern inhabited part of the planet) or by the many hikes and sport activities that you can do there. If you rather enjoy culture and history, then go to the northern border where Tango was born. When the natives, the slaves and the European met at the ports along Rio de la Plata, they all brought something from their homes: Argentinian Milonga, Spanish-Cuban Habanera, African Candombe, Czech Polka, Polish Mazurka and German Waltz resulted into Tango. Widely danced all over the world, it is in Argentina where it is most appreciated. Eno-gastronomy is also a reason why Argentina deserves a visit: tender steaks that can be cut without a knife (the locals say) and Malbec wine from the Mendoza wine region, empanadas for snack and sweets for breakfast can be enjoyed in the whole country. And people just do not get tired of them. Argentina means history and culture, nature and outdoors. It will be an unforgettable visit for everyone!
