Bowlings Riding School

As a family run business established in 1978 we pride ourselves on offering a friendly and happy environment in which to learn to ride.

With an indoor and outdoor arena we are able to continue with planned lessons and activities come rain or shine.

We have a large number of horses and ponies suitable for novices and those more experienced riders. We are a BHS approved training centre (to Stage III) and also the base for the Pembrokeshire College Equine Studies course.

We offer a range of lesson plans from Individual lessons, small group lessons and hacks through beautiful woodland and open farmland with views across to Treffgarne and Plumbstone Mountain.

We also offer children the chance to stay for half a day or a full day where they can learn about the care of the ponies and stable management, as well as the riding.

We are a Pony Club Centre which offers those children without their own pony the opportunity to become a member of the Pony Club and work towards their achievement badges on one of our ponies.

We are also an RDA Centre catering for those with more specific needs and requirements in a safe and controlled environment.
