The Center of Art and Exhibitions of Ejea is part of the network of exhibition spaces managed by the Provincial Council of Zaragoza and aims to become a cultural reference for contemporary art in the Province.

Located in the heart of the old town, part of its facilities - events hall, access control or spaces for workshops and activities - are located in the historic house of the Five Villas, a provincial property that was rehabilitated by the Provincial Council of Zaragoza and that continues to house the headquarters of the Center of Studies of the Five Villas.

It is in the annexed area where the building is located that contains the exhibition space built in five heights - basement, ground floor and other three floors. The building is conceived as a modern and versatile artistic container that the visitor does not expect to find when he walks through the narrow streets of the historical center of Ejea, surprising its light and its interior volume.

Constructed with materials such as concrete, steel, glass or marble, it is built around a large central atrium that runs through the museum vertically with the glass roof. This large gap is the link between the different plants and connects them visually, allowing you to observe the entire exhibition space almost from any point. In addition, the atrium allows to differentiate two main areas: the one closest to the street Ramón y Cajal and the one that turns to the inner courtyard of the property, located in the rear.

During the works several archaeological remains appeared - an arch made in sandstone ashlar and the start of two walls associated with it - that were integrated in the basement plant like elements in exhibition.

The Center of Art and Exhibitions of Ejea is premiered with an anthological exhibition of the collection of contemporary art of the Provincial Council of Zaragoza. The exhibition includes 50 paintings and sculptures by artists such as Antonio Saura, Pablo Serrano, José Manuel Broto, Santiago Lagunas, Fermín Aguayo, Fernando Sinaga and Victor Mira.
