Torrington Museum is a small, friendly museum, housed in the Town Hall in the centre of Great Torrington. It is run entirely by volunteers. The museum has many fascinating exhibits and reflects the diverse history of this ancient market town.
The museum has been closed for several years and attempted to reopen for 2011, but was held back by discovery of major problems with the town hall building.
The contents are now all safely packed away in secure storage. We are presently working on plans for our future vision and finding a suitable new home for the museum.
