Jardín Botánico - Histórico La Concepción

The garden was created in 1855 by Jorge Loring Oyarzabal and Amalia Heredia Livermore, Marquises of Casa Loring. It houses an important collection of subtropical plants outdoors, being considered one of the best in Europe. The historic garden has 5 hectares and is full of old trees, palm trees, fountains, streams, waterfalls, shrubs, vines and plants from all continents. The botanical garden is around these 5 ha and contains collections of scientifically arranged plants and serve for botanical studies, among them there are collections of bamboos, orchids, insectivorous, bromeliads, palms, cactus, succulents, malagueñas old vines, endemics Malaga, aquatic, Mediterranean plants from different continents, baobabs, fruit, etc. In addition there are specific walking routes as "Around the World in 80 trees," Forest Road, Route Viewpoints, ride Hibiscus, tunnel lemon trees, plants Our Earth, etc.
