Museo de la Magia de Aragón

The proposed creation of the Museum of Magic in Aragon, stems from a research project field that began in 2013 on the history of illusionism in Aragon, consisting of a study on the main Aragonese magicians throughout history .

After many interviews with magicians, family, colleagues and review of publications of the time, we note that there were plenty of magical material with great historical interest that could be exposed in order to make known to the general public a part of the aragonesa magical story.

magic wands, boxes of secrets, toppers ... but also billboards, prints and objects that tell the story of the Aragonese wizards: hence the idea of ​​creating a space that tied together the history of magic in Aragon through magical items arose over time ... with the idea of ​​turning it into a museum of magic in illustrative, public and nearby Aragon.

We believe that this museum should be a transmitting center of culture, its museological program should not be based solely on exposed objects, but ideas you want to convey. The concept we propose not sole purpose the adequacy of an architectural container, the exhibition space is not an end but a means. Visitors come into direct contact with the materials are exposed, through guided tours where several of the magical effects that are exposed are displayed.

Although it is a museum focused on the sector of illusionism and sleight in Aragon, there will be a small sample of emblematic parts of Spain and around the world.
