The Museo Civico Cazzetta Vittorino is located in Selva di Cadore. Dedicated to the memory of Vittorino Cazzetta, it collects the remains of the three most important prehistoric sites in the Eastern Veneto Dolomites (Monte Pelmetto Mondeval de Sora and Mandriz). Paleontological section houses a collection of fossils from the formation of the Dolomites to the dinosaur footprints, with the animated cast of the Monte Pelmetto slab of rock, the first uncovered site Italy. The archaeological section houses the tomb of Man Mondeval the ancient inhabitant of the Dolomites, which for 7500 years has been buried at the site the same name with its rich grave goods. The top floor is dedicated to the proto-historic section with many exhibits of Late Neolithic and Eneolithic.
