Museo Y Yacimiento Arqueológico Las Eretas

A town founded in the seventh century BC awaits your visit to show how people lived in the Iron Age. This is the archaeological site "The Eretas" located in Berbinzana, a village located on the banks of the Arga River in the Central Zone of Navarre, a few kilometers from Tafalla, Olite, Estella, Puente la Reina and Artajona. The site contains remains of a fortified settlement of the VI and IV centuries. C., which also has recreated a section of the wall, a tower and a house from the time that you can see, go and learn with the help of different communication resources in a modern monographic museum in which are preserved and exhibited ajuares and material remains recovered during archaeological excavation. This site, initiated a Cultural Interest, is open on weekends and holidays throughout the whole year. It is one of the oldest records found in the Upper Ebro of a fortification whose morphology was effective without major changes until well into the Middle Ages.
