Radnorshire Museum is a a great place to come and visit and explore, with something for everyone. We have permanent exhibitions including a rare Sheila-Na-Gig, a large geological display featuring fossil finds from the local area, archaeological finds from Castell Collen - which was a Roman fort in the area and various Victorian items from when Llandrindod Wells was a thriving Spa town.
We also have temporary Art exhibitions regularly held in the Events room of the Museum. These exhibitions are often by local artists and prove to be a great success.
We are currently sharing the building with the Registration Service of Powys. This is due to a referbishment currently being under taken at the Gwalia offices. Appointments take place here at the museum from 1st September 2014- 31st March 2015. They also hold marriages here in our events room. If you need any more information about the Registration Service please contact them on: 01597 827468 9-5pm Monday - Friday
