Balansiya takes its name from the Muslim Valencia, and in the quiet and relaxed setting of a landscaped pedestrian promenade it recovers our culinary roots of Al-Andalus with halal cuisine and Andalusian flavor.

The quality of the ingredients is worth mentioning. Fresh food carefully selected in the best markets of the city or brought from Morocco, France and Egypt, completely healthy, without additives, preservatives or dyes so the smells, textures and flavors are their own.

At the same time, the exquisite respect for the tradition with which the dishes are cooked deserves to be highlighted. The preparation by Rachid Ben-Hamza Zhim Candil, a professional Arab-Andalusian cooker for more than eighteen years offers us the possibility to enjoy the essentials of our Arab heritage.

Every last detail of the atmosphere and decoration leads us to our past. The crockery that is used is the andalusí glassware and there is an impressive Berber pottery made by the women of the Riff with techniques and designs that goes back to the Protohistory.
