Bar Americano

This bar opened its doors in 1920 and easily adopted the agitated, multicultural atmosphere of the area. Cais do Sodré was a place where sailors from around the world gathered, along with artists, writers and other nightlife enthusiasts. Outside, there is a showcase of varied objects and memorabilia, and an inviting mosaic reading 'Porto Krohn'. A highlight of the interior is the hundred-year old cellarette, and the bottles that fill entire walls. The timetable lists the opening but not the closing hours, inviting customers to stay for as long as the night allows, be it watching a football game in the big screen, singing karaoke or just hanging with friends. The house serves drinks and snacks.
