Casa do Rio Wine Hotel

In the last decade Quinta do Vallado decided to widen the area of ​​own vineyards, having chosen the Superior Douro as the most favorable place to do it.   Quinta do Orgal was acquired in Castelo Melhor - Vila Nova de Foz Côa, where in 2009 the planting of vines began.   The beauty of this place, the state of conservation and the strength of nature, the isolation and the silence, have such a strong impact on those who go there that we think we should provide more people with this unique experience.   For this reason, we decided to create an extension of the Quinta do Vallado Wine Hotel - Casa do Rio - with only 6 rooms and located strategically between the vineyards and the River, with a wonderful view of the Douro Valley.
