More than 1000 reasons to visit Monfragüe this autumn: Strategically located in the heart of the Monfragüe National Park. Between Plasencia, Cáceres, Trujillo and in the vicinity of Valle del Jerte; the Region of Vera; the Ambroz Valley; The Sierras de Gata, Las Hurdes, the Alagón Valley .... The Rural House of the Corral is a set of buildings for lodgings: the Rural House, the Rural Apartment and the Factory of the Corral. Another common unit for all of them is the indoor bathroom for the use of clients from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. from May to October (Mandatory Use of Swimming Cap).

The set is a sample of typical and cozy traditional architectures of Extremaduran villages in the Monfragüe National Park. Genuine Rural Houses for the weekend, but also for all kinds of family gatherings, business meetings and associations, celebrations, courses and other social events such as gatherings and presentations.

These three buildings are surrounding "El Corral", an indispensable element of the old self-sufficient dwelling that housed the stables, orchard, cellar, chicken coop, etc. Around it, buildings were built and demolished, but "el Corral" remained as a source of subsistence since it met the primary needs of rural families.
