Casa Rural la Filera

La Filera Rural Cottage was a shepherd's house that was built at the end of the 19th century and is perfect for a weekend or a vacation for a couple. We wanted a cozy house, different, that kept the essence of the old, the rural ... That's why we have maintained the original structures (beams, windows, stone walls) with part of the furniture (iron beds, cupboards, pantry) and we have combined it with modern facilities (appliances, heating) and with an ideal fireplace to enjoy an immense tranquility ... At La Filera time stands ...

The house has a garage as well as a large garden with barbecue and a porch with the necessary furniture to enjoy magnificent views. It is the last house of the town that although integrated into it, is next to an extensive forest.

Curueña is a town of high mountain, is located at 1,330 m altitude, thus becoming the highest town in the region of Omaña.

The area is home to one of the most important trout rivers in Spain and a myriad of forests of oak, birch, holly ... It is also characterized by its rich fauna of roe deer, wild boar, chamois ... And to keep the only reserve of free capercaillies in Spain.

The Omaña region has been declared a biosphere reserve.
