Devonshire House Bed & Breakfast

We are Chris and Louise Fry. We took over Devonshire House in 2004 and have been welcoming guests from all over the world ever since. Between us we have notched up 45 years experience in the hotel industry and have used that knowledge to create a relaxed place to stay with a personal touch. We invite you to spend your time in Bath in our well-appointed Victorian house, where you will receive a warm welcome from us both.

Our family owned and run bed and breakfast features five refurbished ensuite bedrooms, with coordinated soft furnishings and homely touches. From up-to-date magazines, the morning paper and free wi-fi to fresh milk for your tea, we have tried to think of everything you may need to make your stay a comfortable and enjoyable one – a real home from home.

The room price includes a cooked breakfast, choose from a Full English or Smoked Salmon and scrambled egg along with toast, juice, cereals, fresh fruit and yoghurt.

If you are planning a longer stay in Bath, Laburnum is our charming, split-level cottage, ideal for a couple or a family of up to four. The cottage has a fully-fitted kitchen with washing machine, a spacious living area and sleeping area upstairs.

Devonshire House offers free on-street parking for those coming to Bath by car. If not, the bus stop is just a few hundred yards away and buses stop approximately every 10 minutes during the day, taking you to the bus station in the city centre. Alternatively it is just a 20-minute downhill walk to the city.
