Dreamboats

Dreamboats opened in 2000 and is a small, relaxed and friendly attraction for tourists and local residents. Situated in an idyllic location half a mile from Wimborne Town Centre, Dreamboats took its inspiration from the earlier Newman's Boatyard.

Dreamboats is part of the charity Vision Wimborne (registered Charity no. 1081678) which provides transport for people with disabilities so that they can access goods and services in the east Dorset area. The charity also co-ordinates community activities with representation from a wide range of organisations.

To find us, simply follow the signs to Wimborne Market. As you take the last turning into the market, you will see signs for Dreamboats on your right. There is some parking here, or alternative parking at Wimborne Market or neighbouring roads. Then follow the footpath to the river.

Dreamboats is approximately a 10-15 minute walk from Wimborne Town Centre.

Why not combine an hour's rowing with a picnic and a pleasant walk along the river ?
