Hotel rural el Otero

The hotel is located in a landscaped estate of 8000 m2, located in the town of La Borbolla, on the eastern coast of Asturias, a privileged place bounded by the Cantabrian Sea and the Sierra del Cuera, in the foothills of Picos de Europa. It is an ideal enclave to visit for its great natural attractions.  Our garden is an excellent place to rest, sunbathe on the sun loungers by the pool or unwind with a coffee in front of magnificent views. From the hotel you can access endless beaches of fine sand and a natural appearance that make them very attractive for diving and bathing, several of them nominated as the best in the Cantabrian coast. The closest are La Franca, Vidiago and Buelna just 3 km away. At about 15 km we highlight the beaches of Cué, Poo, Andrín and the beaches of Llanes, Toró beach and El Sablón beach. Due to its location it is a perfect place to visit Asturias and Cantabria. We are very close to Santander, Santillana de mar, San Vicente de la Barquera for the Cantabrian area and for the Asturian one near LLanes (13km), Ribadesella, Cangas de Onís, Covadonga, the peaks of Europe, Lastres, Gijón and Oviedo. In this area with a privileged climate of mild temperatures throughout the year, we can enjoy the awakening of nature in spring and the beautiful colors that fall leaves us, these seasons in which Llanes and its surroundings become a peaceful place and serene.
