La sala de los cineastas Málaga

The objective of the Chamber of Filmmakers is to open to the Malaga public a window to films unpublished in our city; titles that despite their quality and interest have not been shown previously in Malaga. The program will pay special attention to documentary films and Andalusian productions, and will also reserve a space to recover forgotten films from Spanish cinema of any era.

The Chamber of Filmmakers Malaga was born to complement the cinematographic offer of the city. The initiative is part of the association of state-level Union of Filmmakers, a cross-cutting organization that aims to offer new routes for Spanish cinema.

The Chamber of Filmmakers Málaga is linked to similar experiences as those of Barcelona, ​​Murcia or Madrid, in operation for a year and a half. On this occasion, the activity has the support of the Málaga Festival, Albéniz Cinema and the Vice-Rectorate of Culture and Sport of the University of Málaga, along with the collaboration of the Faculty of Communication.
