Museo de la Miel y las Abejas Rancho Cortesano

In Rancho Cortesano, Museum of honey and bees, we not only collect the honey of some 2,000 hives of hard-working bees distributed in different places of the mountains and mountains of the province of Cadiz, we also share with the visitors the secrets of one of the older professions: beekeeper. In this museum we can enjoy with an exhibition on the role of honey in history, an apiary in the middle of a forest of eucalyptus, workshops, audio-visual and meeting room, glazed patio of swarms, ecological orchard and restaurant; it is a quality rural and tourist resource, where we will also learn about the therapeutic uses of beehive products, also discovering the keys that link these fascinating insects in a perfect harmony with nature. The main objective of our Restaurant del Huerto-Eco is to make known the direct relationship that exists between food, nature and the environment. It is important to know, defend and value the origin of food and demand clean and healthy food from contamination. The museum is set in a natural environment, surrounded by ecological orchards, animals and a play area specially designed for children to discover respect for nature and a craft profession.
