The MUPAM has been conceived as a space to solve a triple objective: to make a valorization of the Municipal Heritage historical and artistic character; closer to society and serve as a platform for the dissemination and support local art, especially contemporary artists. The Municipal Heritage basis of the Museum's collections, is composed of more than 4,000 pieces belonging to the categories of Natural Areas, Properties, sculptures, paintings, prints, documents of great historical value and a voluminous library. For the permanent exhibition of the Museum 94 works have been selected, following quality criteria and representativeness. His organization, structured in chronological presentations, serves to explain thematic units, from the works, the relationship of the council with their city. The departments of Education, Training, Broadcasting, Accessibility, organized numerous educational and cultural activdades, and temporary exhibitions.

Spring-Summer hours: Tuesday to Sunday from 10 to 14 h. and 18 to 21 h.
Hours autumn - winter: Tuesday to Sunday from 10 to 14 h. and 17 to 20 h.
