Museo Pazo de Tor

The Palace Tower is located an elevation which serves as a viewpoint over the valley of Lemos in the parish of St. John's Tower, which belongs to the municipality of Monforte de Lemos. The origins of the palace are linked to the lineage of Garza in the fourteenth century and their ownership remained in the hands of his direct descendants until its last owner Dona Maria de la Paz Taboada Andrew and Zuniga who made donation of the property to the Honorable Provincial de Lugo.

The building was built in the last third of the eighteenth century but retains some vestige earlier and was also affected by any subsequent reform (such as repairs carried out after his fire by Napoleonic troops).
