A neoclassical building in the countryside facing the sea: the Museum, donated to the City by the family Cross in 1951, rises above the sea, as watchful lighthouse in the city of Genoa.
Opened in 1985, it boasts a permanent collection of works of Italian and international art, the result of far-sighted work of Maria Cernuschi Ghiringhelli Research. Masterpieces by artists of the caliber Licini, Reggiani, Radice and Fontana and more contemporary works of Adrian Paci, Angel Martha and Ben Vautier.
