The restaurant was founded in 1939 by D. Mariano del Pozo Manso. He continued in 1974 D. Ireneo Álvarez Gómez, nephew of the first and collaborator since the foundation. In 1990, after the absence of D. Ireneo, his sons, Juan Carlos and Javier Álvarez Gómez took charge, giving the current dynamic and innovative touch, with a perfect combination of classic Castilian cuisine and modern and innovative cuisine.
