The YAKIDO restaurant is located in Genoa Sturla. We offer three types of different cuisines including Korean, Japanese and Chinese. Our particular peculiarity is the typical Korean barbecue (Bulgogi) with the presence of the grill set in the center of the table where everyone can cook the marinated dishes with the typical Korean sauce. Our Korean grill is organic, of last generation and cooking is quickly reached starting from the heart of the food thus maintaining its tenderness, but without producing any smoke. To savor the best of our dishes we also have a wide selection of wines and beers from Korea, Japan, China, gluten-free beers and so on. Take-away service too. We are waiting for you in our restaurant with our new specialties. The bulgogi (Korean: 불고기) is a typical dish of Korean cuisine and is perhaps the most famous meat dish in Korea.

Bulgogi is one of the most famous dishes of Korean cuisine, as well as one of the most popular meat cooking methods in the Asian country. Generally this dish is prepared using the sirloin or other fine cuts of meat. The meat is then marinated with a typical Korean sauce. The dish is usually accompanied by white rice or lettuce leaves, which can be used as rolls for pieces of cooked meat and eaten as a unicum.La meat is then cooked on a special grill directly at your table, and does not smoke and leaves odor on clothes.

The origin of this dish is totally uncertain, even if an "ancestor" of the bulgogi is possible to identify it in the Neobiani, a dish similar to that which we present today and which was very fashionable during the Joseon dynasty (a very long-lived dynasty from 1392 to the last century).

The word Bulgogi literally means "meat of fire", given the method of cooking on the grill.
