Keith & Jane welcome you to Swallows Rest.

Our AA 4* Gold rated Bed & Breakfast, Jurassic Self Catering Apartments, Martleaves Farm Campsite and Wedding Venue are located in the Dorset countryside on the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site.

There is a choice of accommodation, so whether it's self catering you're after or the delights of a cosy luxurious B&B, you will find it all here. There's room for everyone as both options together sleep up to 28 guests, so feel free to bring the family along.

If camping is more your thing we have brand new facilities exclusively for our campers, including hard standing and electric hook ups for caravans and camper vans, centrally heated showers and a laundry room with drying facilities. The site is set in 34 acres of land of special scientific interest and is a designated nature reserve. During your stay you can enjoy coastal walks along the South West Coastal Path and all of the natural delights that Weymouth has to offer.

Getting married? Swallows Rest is the perfect secluded location for a wedding and the stunning scenery and ocean backdrop will ensure that this truly is a day to remember. You can be married in our summerhouse during the summer and set up a marquee in one of our fields leading down to the sea, hire a band, and even book the entire 12 farmhouse rooms to accommodate members of your wedding party. During winter months your wedding ceremony may be held in our farmhouse with log fire burning to create a romantic atmosphere to remember.

On the farm we have Alpacas, miniature Shetland ponies, horses and sheep. In the gardens we have pet pigs George, a rescue Vietnamese Pot Bellied pig and Mildred, a Kune Kune pig, wandering freely. We also have numerous chicken, beautiful bantams and ducks free ranging and laying the eggs we use for our home made cakes and breakfasts for our B&B guests. We now have the beginnings of a farm shop selling our eggs, jam, produce from the garden and cakes made to order.

We're just a 2 mile walk into Portland and Weymouth along the coastal path and the disused railway line, the Rodwell Trail.
