Acquario di Livorno

The Aquarium of Livorno, located on the waterfront of Livorno near Terrazza Mascagni enjoys a prime location with strong emotional and visual impact and offers the public a guided tour that is spread over two floors with a total exhibition area of ​​about 3,000 sq.m. .

On the ground floor, the blue of the abyss with its 33 exhibition tanks that are home to the two beautiful green turtles "Ari" and "Cuba", blacktip reef sharks, Napoleon fish, zebra sharks and even seahorses, jellyfish, the starfish and more.

On the first floor the blue of the abyss, gives way to the green forest in a space dedicated to insects, amphibians and reptiles in their fascinating shapes and colors: l ' "invisible" stick insect, the articulated centipede, the colored arrow frog and camouflage chameleon, iguana ..

From the first floor you can access a splendid panoramic terrace from which to admire the beauty of the Tuscan Archipelago and the coast of Livorno.

The property's mission is to inform and sensitize the public to the conservation, management and sustainable use of aquatic environments to promote positive and responsible behavior.
