Braeside Bed & Breakfast is reputed to be the first Bed & Breakfast to have been established in Portree and offers authentic highland hospitality.

Situated in the very heart of Portree you will be hard pressed to find a more welcoming Bed and Breakfast in this picturesque port. Braeside is one of the oldest houses in Portree and was formerly a farm house and byre.

Braeside B & B is literally 2 minutes walk from portree town centre and from the garden, has views of Portree's magnificent harbour still bustling with its fishing boats and yachts. Fresh fish is available from the harbour daily and lots of lazy hours can be spent just sitting watching the boats come and go.

Braeside Portree is the ideal base for those who are planning to tour the island by car or public transport. Being in the heart of Portree you also have an extensive choice of fine restaurants and bars every evening. Portree town centre has many shops catering for all visitors ranging from antiques and art to beautiful Highland wear and outdoor gear.

The house has three bedrooms: two are en-suite doubles, the third has three single beds and en-suite. All rooms are complete with tea/coffee making facilities, a television and central heating to ensure your stay is cozy.

Portree offers a wide choice of places to eat, including cafes, vegetarian restaurants, various takeaways, seafood restaurants and pubs, some of which provide live music during the Summer, again all within easy walking distance of Braeside Bed & Breakfast.
