RURAL HOUSE "BALCÓN DE SANTALLA"

The rural house Balcón de Santalla is located in a small village of great scenic beauty. The Camino de Santiago de Invierno passes through it and at its feet are the Barrancas, incredible formations produced by erosion.

The house is ideal for couples, although it can accommodate four people (a bedroom and a sofa bed).

Our house consists of two floors: on the ground floor is the kitchen, fully equipped and a living room with pellet fireplace, games, television and stereo. On the first floor there is the bedroom and a bathroom. It is accessed by a wooden staircase.

It has been recently refurbished maintaining the original elements, with a rustic and elegant style, obtaining the qualification of 3 stars green rural house. Most of the furniture is made in wood in an artisanal way.

The result is a charming house located in the rural environment, which offers the visitor all the comforts thanks to its complete equipment.

Not suitable for people with motor deficiencies (the bathroom is located on the 1st floor).

Environment:

It is an enclave of the Camino de Santiago in winter. Ideal for nature lovers, outdoor activities and active tourism: hiking, mushroom picking, horse riding ... very close to Lake Carucedo (10 minutes), in which you can do water sports, canoeing, fishing ...

It also has a wide gastronomic and wine tourism offer. And it is very close to such spectacular places as Las Médulas, the Castle of Cornatel, Ponferrada, with a magnificent Templar castle, Cacabelos .....
