Festival Esvoaça

The Esvoaça intends to benefit from the excellent climatic conditions of the summer days in Esposende and to explore the privileged location, inserted in a predominantly rural environment of the banks of the River Cávado, in order to ally the enjoy of the Nature to the music and other performing arts.

With their eyes fixed on the future, the Flutter aims to rescue some of the local cultural imagery and transport them to the present day.

The event wants to assume itself to assume itself as a regional pole of creativity as a result of the qualification, connectivity and promotion of a strong cultural identity.

Esvoaça values ​​and is guided by quality, contemporaneity and artistic creativity. It is dynamic and relaxed, with a very young and lively view of culture.

The festival focuses on giving wings to improvisation and imagination. For, as Einstein argues, "imagination is more important than knowledge; Knowledge is limited, imagination involves the world. "

Purposes of the Outlaw:

• To enrich the offer of cultural events of summer, oriented essentially for the young public, making an intergenerational bridge;

• Dynamize the local music scene by creating conditions for the artistic projects of the Municipality of Esposende and neighboring counties to show their work;

• To contribute to the decentralization of the cultural events of the city's headquarters, to other parishes, namely to the Parish of Gemeses;

• Affirm the festival in the cultural panorama of the region as an annual festival;

• Involve local actors in various areas: cultural, sporting and recreational associations and local power.
