Givors Plongée

It is since December 2000 that the club Givors Diving was born. A group of friends, all divers wished to set up a club where the pleasure of diving would be the first motivation of all the members.

Thanks to the help of the town hall of Givors, our club was able to see the day and benificier of premises and a time slot at the swimming pool of the municipality.

The club is affiliated to the FFESSM (club number: 14690347)

The activities of the club are mainly training for the preparation of different levels of divers, the maintenance of the physical condition necessary for this activity and the outings at sea or natural environment (mandatory aperitif and saucission ...)

Trainings :

Adult training sessions take place at the Givors swimming pool on Thursday evenings from 8.30 pm to 9.45 pm and children's training sessions on Saturday mornings from 8.30 am to 10 am (freestyle possible for adults). The theoretical courses for Levels 1, 2 and 3 are often held on Saturday morning.

Activities of the club:

The club offers adult training and has a children's section.

At the beginning of the season, the club offers free diving at the swimming pool for you to try the diving.

The club regularly organizes outings in the natural environment (notably Chamagnieux) and at sea (Mediterranean coast).

The club endeavors to participate as much as possible in the recreational and sporting events organized by the municipality.

Training :

The courses offered at the children's club are: bronze, silver and gold diver and for adults: levels 1, 2 and 3 diver and TIV, initiators according to availability of the supervisors.
