The Kauppilanmäki museum area in the center of Valkeakoski presents the living conditions of paperworkers from the 1870's to the early 20th century. The area has five residential buildings, a working-class building, a smoke sauna and a barn. The courtyard area is a public park where you can spend your time outside the museum's opening hours, for example, by greeting summer camps and chickens.
The entrance fee includes a guided tour at the Kauppilanmäki Museum and entrance to the Myllysaari Museum and the Finnish Football Museum. The ticket is valid for 2 days. Prices 5 € / 3 € / 2 €, under 7v. children as well as veterans of our wars do not pay for entrance fee. Free admission to the museum card.
At the Kauppilahti, the guided tours begin at hourly intervals from the Info building. The lesson takes less than an hour.
