Only cinema set in a university that works throughout the year with regular screenings, the Kino-Ciné is classified as "arthouse" and labeled "Search & Discovery", "Young Audience" and "Heritage & Directory". It is the only single-screen cinema in the region to have all these labels, recognition of the wealth of programming.
The Kino-Ciné is an association law 1901 whose mission is to ensure the film program of the multipurpose cultural room, the Kino (316 seats) of the University of Lille 3, at the disposal of our association when n ' there are no other events.
It works thanks to the active participation of one team: a programmer, a responsible com 'and the young public, accountant and thirty volunteers.
Besides programming strongly focused on foreign films (in original version Sub-Titled French) and the engaged documentary, Kino-Ciné offers theme nights (Nights 2 Films), parties, debates, meetings with filmmakers, but also cycles to showcase heritage films (films over 20 years). He also participates in festivals in partnership with other organizations.
The Kino-Ciné runs every day of the week, even holidays, except Sundays. It is also closed during the Christmas holidays and from mid-July to late August.
Warning ! Because of staff of the university security service, the gates of the bridge close to 23h on weekdays and on Saturday at 17h. Access is then by Kino car park (see map)
