La Mongolfiera Galleria d'Arte

The Balloon was founded by Joy Quicquaro, an art historian specializing in Historic-Artistic Heritage at the University of Genova and his desire to promote culture in Western Liguria. The focus of the gallery is directed to modern and contemporary art and its purpose is to present artists with reason and method involving a diverse audience and not just what has always been fascinated by the art world. The Hot Air Balloon intends to become a benchmark in western Liguria: for artists, for young people who want to start building their collection for connoisseurs, for fans. The desire is to make the place a young, dynamic, not intended solely to the work of art sales, but also a space to promote culture exchanges, reflection and multidisciplinary dialogues through the artists and their works.

Thanks to the meeting with Sergio Noberini, director of the Luzzati Museum, the gallery collaborates with the Museum of Porta Siberia in Genoa to promote and disseminate the works of the Genoese master Emanuele Luzzati, who has always had a focus on the Western Liguria.
