Musée d'Angoulême

The museum houses two collections of international importance. On the one hand, the collection of art from Africa and Oceania, presented in an exceptional museum. On the other hand, the archaeological collection that evokes the history of Charente, from geological times to medieval times. As for the fine arts collection, it allows to present a sampling of very beautiful European paintings from the seventeenth century to the nineteenth century as well as remarkable ceramics and ancient weapons.
