A small but precious museum 27 rooms, some of which are decorated with stuccos and frescoes of Baroque taste, host the objects divided into the two sections, the historical-artistic and the ethnographic one.
It is a collection of over 4,000 objects that testify to culture, craftsmanship, work, folklore and religious life in the Bormio area. The carpenter's shop and the cobbler's shop are exhibited through environmental reconstruction.
A small cellar houses the tools used in the various stages of processing milk, while a large room holds the tools used for processing fields and cereals. A great diligence, which until 1915 served through the Stelvio pass, is placed in the museum together with carriages, carriages and large snow sleds.
