Restaurante Canastra

At number 42 on Rua 16, the beautiful city of Espinho received the restaurant Canastra in December 1995.

The new times and the will of a man, Luís Marinho, turned the wholesaler warehouse into a house of good food. However, it was maintained by the hand of the architect Lacerda, the original design of the building and its magnificent ceiling. It serves up above all else, well.

In the menu the chef is the Portuguese cook and the grilled delicately made in the eyes of all. And with the sea so close, the fish could not be missing. Not lacking.

Also noteworthy are the mouth-watering desserts, such as the delicious passion fruit tarte, the sublime chocolate cake or the sinful slices of Resende.

In the cellar - also with a prominent place - is a collection of wines selected by those who know and for whom they like.

The smokers also have, in this restaurant, a place marked in a space where the comfort and the contemporary decoration invite to long conversations around the table.
