Located at the southern edge of the historic center, the theater presents itself externally as an eclectic style building of the late '800 /' 900, with a smooth facade of travertine solid. The interior consists of a horseshoe-shaped hall with two tiers of boxes and a gallery for a total of two hundred and fifty seats and offers to the visitor's gaze the elegance of its stucco decorations, the ambulatory painted travertine capitals adorned with bundles of rosettes, the once crowned by a side trail of flower garlands, the central rose window and stucco medallions depicting musical instruments. Harmonious in form, the theater was built in 1890 thanks to the voluntary work of the local Philharmonic Dramatic Society (which is still proprietary) and worked intensely, accepting on its stage theater companies and operetta and then, in line with almost all the halls of the province, also be used as a movie theater since the '30s. Bombed during the war, was quickly rebuilt and reactivated as early as 1946. After a major restoration in 1983, he resumed his movie theater activities, then interrupted at the beginning of this decade.
