Woundales is spoilt for choice when it comes to good food nearby with several award winning pubs and restaurants all within a few miles, including; The Carpenters Arms at Felixkirk, The Cleveland Tontine, The Crab and Lobster, The Star at Harome and the Michelin Starred Black Swan at Oldstead. Or of course you could just stay and enjoy a glass or two on our beautiful terraces overlooking our own dale and eat delicious local produce including our own Classic Dexter beef before walking worry free upstairs to bed.

We are the perfect choice as a base for a holiday or short romantic break and ideal if you are on business anywhere between Leeds and Newcastle but want somewhere lovely to stay with a personal touch.
